Every once in a while, a client crew will get in my boat and with in 5 minutes it is just like fishing with a couple of your best pals, that is the way it was with Randy and Jeff on Firday, we ran all over east bay, caught and released a load of 14" fish and only managed to find 4 Keeper spec's and too sand trout that Jeff wanted to keep but I had a blast and they said they did as well, Capt. Tag Aderson found some big ole sow's from 2 small slicks in the middle of Eastbay we where working together but by the time I got there they were gone. It was a super day anyway.

I worked with Capt. C.R.Maher as part of an 8 Boat Coporate Outing/Mini Tournament, and it was a tuff fishing day with the wind howling all day and gust to 30 MPH, we all were close to the south shoreline of E.Bay, three to four trout per boat was about the norm., Capt Mike was King with 11 trout, I will be glad when this wind lay's down a bit, cause there are a Lot of large sow Trout in the Bays now to spawn, all we need is for the wid to moderate sow we can work on um. Til next time . remember that a bad day fishing is better than a good day at work.

Guided Western Summit folks in the A.B.C. Tournament, we Boxed 12 trout, 3 gafftop catfish, and lost 3 nice trout at the Boat, Scott from Summit insisted it was net operator error but I believe it was just bad luck! our best trout was 5 &3/4 Lbs and the total wasa a tick less than 15lbs, Another Guide fishin close to us ( but not in the Tourn. ) caught a really big fish just before we had to leasve, I guessed it to be between 7 & 8 lbs. We didn't win anything but it was a good day on the water with a good group of Guy's.

Capt Pat Mclennan and I went on a mid day scouting trip, and Capt Nathen Gray Joined us for the last hour, we found a few trout in upper Galveston bay in 4 to 6 feet of water, the bit was in the evening between 3 and 5 Pm on Lime and Pearl Assins and DOA Shrimp the total was 8 keeper Spec's and 1 flounder and 15 or so throw back in the 13 to 15 inch range. Over all I still rate the fishing as slow but every new day could change that. Also I would like to Thank David Cain with the Live well designe for the make over of my site, Great Job David. Thanks again Capt. Steve Dye
